I received my medical degree from the University of Graz, Austria and completed my training in paediatric surgery in the UK, Ireland, and Austria. My surgical training included an Academic Clinical Fellowship in paediatric surgery at the Alder Hey Children\u2019s Hospital and the Royal Manchester Children`s Hospital in the UK.<\/p>\n
I have also done research on congenital anomalies at the University College Dublin and a Medical Research Council fellowship with a secondment at the Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles, USA. I have a PhD from the University of Liverpool, UK.<\/p>\n
I specialise in birth defects with a focus on gastrointestinal tract malformations such as anorectal anomalies and Hirschsprung\u2019s disease. I have participated in several surgical missions in Mongolia and Africa.<\/p>\n
I am a board-certified paediatric surgeon and I have been practicing at the Klinik Donaustadt in Vienna since 2018.<\/p>\n
I have published the results of my research in peer reviewed journals and have presented the results of my research at many international meetings.<\/p>\n
